This sculptural series isolates the overlooked details of everyday urban life, objects designed to be functional, passed without notice, and quickly forgotten.
Recreated at scale in hand-carved Limewood, these works replicate the visual language of heavy industrial forms, disrupting expectations of weight, permanence, and use. What appears fixed and utilitarian is revealed as tactile, crafted, and quietly unstable.
By translating metal into wood, the work slows perception, inviting closer attention to the patterns, repetitions, and subtle design decisions embedded within the built environment.
What is usually ignored becomes momentarily held, examined, and revalued.
