Cornucopia / Pornucopia is a tabletop sculpture that changes according to its owner's desires. Drawing on the historic cornucopia at Sir John Soane’s Museum and the interchangeable narrative carvings at Two Temple Place, it reimagines ornamental symbolism as fluid and adaptable rather than fixed. Traditionally representing abundance, the cornucopia is transformed through interchangeable arrangements that shift between innocent and erotic readings, using fruit as a coded language of desire, humour, and provocation.

By allowing elements to be rearranged, concealed, or revealed, the work reflects the ways people adapt what they present to the world depending on context and audience. Meanings shift alongside appearances, moving between decoration and innuendo, openness and discretion. By placing control in the hands of the owner, Cornucopia / Pornucopia invites an ongoing renegotiation of meaning, taste, and personal expression.
